Forums - Gaming Discussion - Most Anticipated Upcoming Games that AREN'T on Your Main System?

Thread title says it all. People can own multiple platforms, but you'd have to be pretty dishonest or downright strange not to have one that you prefer over the others for one reason or another. What I want to know is what are you most anticipated upcoming games that exist outside of that comfort zone. Multiplatform games count, but only if you intend to get it on that platform (this one's gonna have to be on the honor system peeps, let's be honest about where we intend to purchase)

For me, PS4 is my comfort zone, so I'm looking forward to the following:

Astral Chain (Switch)

Daemon x Machina (Switch)

Pokemon Sword/Shield (Switch)

Panzer Dragoon (Switch)

Lately (past 2 years unfortunately), I haven't had the time to game more than a couple of hours a week on average. The majority has been on PS4.

I intend to buy a Switch if Pokémon Sword/Shield is in anyway close to that fully fledged 3D Pokémon home console adventure I've been dreaming of since playing Pokémon Red and looking through my Pokédex on N64 with Pokémon Stadium.

For now however, my most anticipated games that won't be bought on PS4 is Command & Conquer Remastered (PC), Cyberpunk 2077 (PC), and In the Valley of Gods (PC, if it has a late release on consoles).

Daemon x Machina (Switch)
Zelda: Link's Awakening remake (Swithc)
Marvel UA (Switch)

Can't really think of any other ones I'd be looking forward to this year on other platforms, besides those 3.

If you'd count storefront "exclusives", then I could add more, but really, those are timed, but at the same time, my hype surrounding them has all but died and I don't wish to support those devs, due to the timed exclusivity deals made.

PS4 is my main and only platform, really. I have a potato PC for internet stuff.
I can't really think of anything outside of my reach that I would want. Well, PC gets some RTS games and such that never release on consoles, but that's pretty much it. Perhaps the new Microsoft studios will eventually put out something that I would want, but I suspect everything from them will be on PC as well. So if I wanted to get my hands on absolutely everything of interest, I would have to invest hard into a new PC, which I'm not likely to do.
I'm very happy as I am, I've got plenty to play.

I would have said FF VII remake, but after I saw how combat looks like, it was clear it's nothing for me anymore. I would have said Cuphead, but that one got released on Switch, too.

As a result, nothing comes to mind, really. Everything else I like comes out on Switch and/or PC. This might change when the next gen is announced, but right now, nothing comes to mind.

Ori 2 (X1/PC) - I've recently played through the first one on my low-end PC, but the 2nd one seems to have a lot higher requirements
Astral Chain (Switch)
Luigi's Mansion 3 (Switch)

ofcourse Zelda:BotW2 would also be very interesting, but I feel it's a 2021 release hence I'm not really excited at this point

I'm excited for Halo Infinite. I'll buy Scarlett instead of PS5 next gen.

Panzer Dragoon (Switch)
BOTW2 (Switch)
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch)

PS4/Switch are my two main systems. Currently there isn't anything too cool coming out for PC in a while.

The sentence below is false.
The sentence above is true.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Non-Nintendo games are rarely my cup of tea, the only current gen games I was interested in were Cuphead and Ori (and even now that Cuphead is on Switch, I still haven't bought it, because other games are more of a priority).
