And indeed, this season, and probably the previous as well should’ve been a full 10 episodes.

Yeah, I'm also not surprised at what happened, but more concerned of how it happened. More episodes could have definitely set it up better.

Have you ever read Berserk? (Read, not watched)

There is also a manga called Vagabond that's ridiculously good but was sadly dropped (eternal hiatus).

Berserk is a medieval fantasy while Vagabond is a fantasy about one of japan most famous samurai ever.

If you want a bit less serious (still serious tho) you can also go for Kingdom, a manga about the unification of China during the warring states era.

I'll just be happy if we ever get the books at all.

I'd recommend for everyone to get the Audiobook version, and put it on your playlist and listen as you go about your day. Great way to experience the story if you don't have time to sit down with a book for extended periods of time.

I'll try beserk. I lost myself while watching Parasyte just before GoT came on and that has probably fucked everything because of the stupid drama..

Doesn't matter, I'll watch beserk. Hopefully. Thanks man. 

Do not watch it, read it.

Or else don't even bother, the anime is pretty bad.

The manga is the pinnacle of manga art.

This is good news in my opinion.

Not only does mean we'll get the books sooner, it means that the ending is even more likely to be quite different.

Do you imagine the books being like the last few seasons? I certainly don't.

I still like the show. It's just obvious that the story telling has declined in quality while everything else has increased in production quality.

Yes. Supposedly HBO gave them 10 episodes to finish off the series, they incisted only on 6 so they could get to star wars sooner lol.

I very much doubt I'd be able to read it. I mean maybe but I doubt it. I really liked watching parasyte.
