Now that Georgia has gone blue, the Senate is lost to the Reps for at least 2 years, I am wondering how the shakeup for the party will go. Will the Reps blame President Trump or will they continue to hide behind that fraud claim. We know Trump will blame anyone and everyone else besides himself but the next 2 to 4 years will be very interesting. Personally, I am willing to see some young heads lead the Senate and House and kick some of these old dogs to the street but lets see how things goes. Next up is big drama day. Will Pence commit political suicide and try to not count votes from contested states. As far as the Reps putting in their dispute claims well that piece of theater is a waste of time not really worthy of my salt and vinegar popcorn but who knows, maybe there will be some high drama during the EC count.

Well done Georgians, well done.

Congrats to Warnock and Ossof for winning the senate seats in Georgia. Witnessing the blue shift in Georgia is heartening, to say the least. Now we don't have to worry about every single issue being blocked for Biden by Republicans.

The level of bullshit here is unreal.

The objection is that the electors are not appointed directly by the legislatures in some state, allegedly because the constitution says that. The constitution says,

"Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors"

For fuck's sake anyone with above a fifth grade level can read that this says the legislature can determine how the electors are selected, not that the legislature has to certify it directly.

Also, note that they are not alleging any actual fraud. Wonder why.

Because they actually do not want to win.  This is theater and only really being done to appear as if they care about Trump lost.  Of well no real drama just BS.  We are done.
