Biden Reaffirms He is Against Medicare For All, still backing the private healthcare model, status quo healthcare confirmed for the next decade  :/

If he is against medicare for all, I honestly probably wont vote.  A lot of what he wants to do especially the Step up basis is going to affect me, but I'm fine with that if we get medicare for all.

How about voting green then maybe? They are in support of medicare for all, after all and if you wouldn't vote otherwise then it will have no effect on the election result but would show bigger support for issues they stand for, possibly pulling the democrats into that same direction.

Well done America, again it's another standoff between two bad candidates,

The thing is even in Obama's era the US wouldn't hold up as a democracy for European standards. Which mandate that elections should be free and direct, which is not the case in the US. Which makes me sick to my stomach when the US behaves as if it's the arbiter of democracy.

For those unaware, "free" is a principle for voting rights that demands that there should not be any unnecessary obstacles for any individual to vote. It also mandates neutrality from the government to not promote candidates or interfere in the election for personal gain. "Direct means that votes should go directly go towards a party or a candidate and not through electors. The US fails on every single point and as such should not be considered a democracy, but rather a bastardization of it that favors authoritarianism. I'd say the US is right now closer to national socialism of Nazi Germany than an actual democracy, but they can't even get the socialism right.

One of which is clearly worse, so it's also yet another super easy decision that the voters will try their hardest to get wrong again.

Imo yes one of them is worse but it can all be a bit convoluted depending on the media you follow if you are an american citizen i do think.

So i have no damn idea how this will turn out :p

They got it right last time.

They got it a bit too far right last time.

The lack of action with covid you are going to have to explain to me. He litterally did what everyone else / country has done. He undermined it (along with everyone else) due to WHO not doing their jobs and they feed the public with bs information.Glad they are not getting anymore of our money. The anti trans policies only affected a few people, but certainly didn't destroy American life. There was warranted concerns about trans joining the military because of their high suicide tendencies. The military is also known for high suicide rate as well. I'm okay with transgenders joining the military, but there definitely needs to be research and development that needs to be taken place before letting them in to make sure their needs are met such as health care. By the way, the military is extremely picky on who can join.

For example, if you were on antidepressants you have to be off it and wait a year before joining or if you had asthma just once after a certain age you are DQ for life.

For COVID he was undermining health officials like Fauci, he was pushing for states to reopen too quickly,  and was anti mask until last month. Yeah he did do things like the border closures and 15 days to stop the spread but still hes one of the reasons America never left the first wave. When you look at out covid graphs you see us peak and then drop a little and stagnate then another peak while most other countries peaked dropped a lot and are now increasing a bit.

Well one of Americas founding ideals is freedom and banning trans people from serving and discriminating against them in HUD is definitely against the ideal American way of life where everyone should be free and treated equally.

Americans don't wear masks anyways or at least in my area. Stores literally had to start booting people out to get them to wear it. The reason why the corona virus is spreading so much during the summer is because of all the protestors and parties that were going on. Eventually, people all together are going to stop wearing masks because how futile the situation is.There is no way this is going to be sustainable for the next five years.

One of the reasons why Transgenders were banned from serving the military was because a lot of them need certain ongoing health care treatment. Military is very strict on a military personnel health. Even the smallest things such as being flat footed or being allergic to certain foods will DQ you or get you kicked out.

A reason for this is because of the original guidelines that said masks were not effective and because Trump downplayed the need for masks for 5 months. If Trump came out as pro mask when the CDC changed their guidelines millions of his supporters would be wearing masks and we would be a much better situation we are now.

Okay but not all transgender people require the same type of treatment once they're in the military. If medical concerns were the reason it should have been implemented on a person by person basis not towards a whole group of Americans that want to give back to their country.

But Trump got to be president anyway.  It's the system that's screwed up.

AOC gets "60 seconds" of speech time at the DNC Convention, John Kasich (former Republican Governor) will get more time
