I'm surprised they haven't released gta v on the switch yet, seems like a no brainer to me.

Maybe they still think it doesn't sell on a Nintendo console due to disappointing sales of GTA on the GBA and Chinatown Wars on the DS

Great news, does the link inform what were the expectations?

Unfortunely no.Hard to say how well it fared, but as long as the company is happy, Im not complaining.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

That was more due to the style of gta it was and rampant piracy than not selling on Nintendo platforms. Also don't forget Chinatown wars sold better on ds than psp.

I want to get it, but I'm afraid that the letter font size might be too small in portable mode. Can anyone confirm how is it?

Have played 100 hours, 90 of those in portable mode. Portable is superior to docked imo. It's based on the iPad version, so you can use touch for all menus/actions, which makes playing the game a much smoother experience. Text is well-sized too, easy to read and not straining at all.

I will definitely be getting this game soon. I wish they could give us exact sales numbers though.

Well, VGC has it at 250K. That's OK in my book, but not exciting. Still hope this is good enough to get more strategy games: Anno, Age of Empires, maybe XCOM or so.

When did Civ VI some out lol?

Also it is physical and full game on cart or one of those 100mb files download 20gb things lol

It exist physical (that's my version at least). I have 343MB additional storage on my Switch for this game, patches and stuff.

XCOM is one of my biggest wishes for the Switch, it would be incredible on the go.

Now hopefully Take Two brings the Civ VI DLC over as well.

Yeah, XCOM and the expansion of Civ should come (some szenario packs are in the eshop as DLC). For XCOM I have to check out Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics, this should tide me over until a possible real XCOM.

They aren't only happy, they are also planning more support, so all great news.

Physical copies of this went out of the UK retail chain really quickly. I've been waiting to see them again before I buy ... I'm in no hurry to do so and I don't especially want this filling my memory card. The good news is that if they made some money they will support it with the major expansions.

Great news. Another great game reaching good sales numbers on the Switch
When it was announce, I felt really glad. Civilization is a franchise that I never tried but always heard so many good things about it.
I´m still looking for a physical copy, or a sale, though.
