I'm expecting mediocre sales...not because the Wii crowd doesn't like "adult" games....just that Manhunt itself is too violent for most gamers...it's not the same as Grand Theft Auto or anything...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
Yea while it seems interesting it also seems to be a bit over the top.
Wonder what rating this thing will get, is there any online play ?
if you read about it the Wii version is being developed by a different team from the PS2 and PSP one, and the Wii one is said to have considerably better graphics, and the motion controls. I like the effort that's being put into this Wii version, although i'm not that interested in the game. Might rent it.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
"Call us sick, but we couldn't be more excited because Nintendo's console will be home to the definitive version."
Whaaaattt!? I can't believe they said that. The nintendo version of Manhunt as the definitive version!! Well, I guess it's kinda true. Seeing how things have been lately, if it had been a port...the graphics would have been worse than the ps2 version.
But holy crap look, the wii version does have better graphics and the ability to actually control your slaughter scenes unlike the ps2 version. Ahh, I can't put the pic, someone else do it. The one where the nunchuk and wiimote say to motion up while your character onscreen has a plastic bag over some dudes head. You can see something there if you look closely...it looks like a lawsuit me thinks.
Oh yeah the first game was way messed up, you take orders from some guy who sounds like he's getting off every time you murder someone, following you around with a camera or something. I believe whole-heartedly in the bill of rights, but seriously what would prompt someone to make a game like this? If this was maybe controlled with the classic controller fine and dandy, but I agree with you guys that utilizing the motion sensing in this fashion is just asking for trouble. I would much rather have Tenchu than this game for Wii, Tenchu is not as gory, would have a cooler premise for motion control, and it has ninjas.
Well after this $ony and Micro$oft fans can't use that kiddie image Nintendo - argument again. ;)
Nothing's cheaper than something free.
F1 vs FOTA, when too much power is in couple peoples hands.

it´s funny for me this kind of game is not for the mature players at all (I´m trying not to touch the kiddi-bomb) but as far as I can see this type of over the top violence is most interesting for teens who eat up anything with lots of gore (if its forbidden it has to be cool and my older brother will get it for me) , which is ok with me, a little paine never hurt anybody, but as soon as the "OH NO HE DIDN`T" factor wears of I find these games usually to lack the story and gameplay for longtime motivation. But maybe I´m wrong and this turnes out to be a cool horror story.
