Forums - General - Circumcision - Yes or No?

I'm actually baffled about the proposed benefits. How the fuck does it make the penis cleaner and less prone to diseases when you take away all the protection it has and subject it to outside influences? One would think the protection is there for a reason.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Huh, I didn't even know that circumcision was common in the US. Here it's only done by Muslims and Jews, or for medical reasons.

It's pretty pointless, so I'd say don't do it, but it's not like it's something that matters much.

Yeah Im against this too, there really is no logical reason to do it.

Completely up to you. There are religious and philosophical reasons, but the medical field also has some to say about it.

Circumcision makes it easier to stay clean and reduces the chances of disease. However, that still can be mitigated by simply washing regularly.

Makes it easier to stay clean for people that do not wash themselves :p

Whether you wash or not its still easier. Even it goes from easy to easiest, its still easier ;p

True but it does almost fully removes the importance of the "easier" part when in first place it is already very easy to keep it clean.

But yeah its easier.

Weird. I'm American, and circumcision is standard practice. If anything, I would say you *should* have your son circumcised if only to prevent him from feeling ashamed of his penis. Women would be happier, too.

Depends, the skin does give more pleasure.

Is it easier to keep your eyeballs clean if you cut of your eyelids? Obviously not, that's insane.

Is it easier to keep your dick clean if you cut of the foreskin? Its the same thing.

It dries out and hardens, the entire head turns into a callus and loses most of the sensitivity. There are no more natural antibacterial and moisturizing oils (yes, the body normally produces these). Taking that away does not make your dick healthier.
As some have already mentioned, if you live in a jungle and never shower, then yeah. Could be a "cleaner" alternative. Otherwise, warm water gotcha' covered.
The foreskin on a baby isn't loose, its attached to the shaft at that age. It is forcefully ripped off, and the pain is immense. Its serious trauma to put a baby through. Seriously consider what it is and why anyone even wants to do it.

Don't cut into babies for no reason. Just don't.

If you want to do it as an adult, all power to yah. But that's a completely different thing.

Frankly dont operate unless it becomes a problem, a circumcised dick doesnt grow as big either
