Man that 8% aint looking good for the Xbox One version, wouldn't be shocked if the next Tales skips Xbox One again while sticking to PS4/Switch/PC.

Going by indicators in Japan, (COMG chart etc.) it appears the PS4 version is going to outsell the Switch version 1st week, which will be almost a flip flop of the situation in the U.K. Market.

I am fully expecting the PS4 version to have a better opening in Japan, but the Switch version to have stronger legs and eventually over take the PS4 version just like what happened with Dragon Quest Builders 2 recently.

Yeah I was surprised with DQB2

Good sales for switch

This! Congrats Switch, glad to see this game is doing well. Definitely like to see this game selling well among all gamers.

Nice, I hope it matches it or outsells it WW, also hope the same for the next mainline title if it comes to the Switch. This is the one series I really want it to appear consistently on Nintendo systems.

Indeed, regardless of it which actually sells better, the best part of this news is that the Switch SKU is actually competitive with the PS4. Hopefully that's promising news for future games. It's a delightful franchise and deserves to sell to the widest possible audience.

NNID: Zephyr25 / PSN: Zephyr--25 / Switch: SW-4450-3680-7334

I think the next mainline entry will be on Switch.

I'm assuming that with digital PS4 is over Switch but regardless this is great ... I was hoping it would do this well, I really think most games, especially niche JRPGs, belong on multi-platforms ... especially Switch

If these sales are any indication, then i fully expect more publishers put more of their future output on Switch. U.K. is 1 of Nintendo's weakest markets, after all.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

I felt it a bit harsh so I will address only this once again.

You said "UK is NS' weakest market by a significant margin"

Which is simply far from the truth. I use Middle East as an example of a "market", to somewhat alleviate the massive disparity in information available. NS has weaker markets by far.

When I see people say that UK is its weakest market, I always take that as weakest of the major markets that this site tracks (US/UK/FR/GER/JAP)

Check again. UK>GER for Switch. GER is also 80M+ population v 67M for UK.

Switch is half as popular in Germany as it is in France (per capita).

That's not how marketshare works.

'UK is weakest market'

By what metric?

Switch is selling better than XB in UK, selling more in UK than GER (VGC) so how is it the weakest market?

I just said it my the last post......marketshare.

Also I never claimed that UK is its weakest market, I was explaining what I think peoplease mean when they say that.

Pretty cool, I got it on Switch myself as I missed out on it when it was on the Xbox 360.
