For the purposes of this thread, we're talking games that were console-exclusive at the time, so ones that were re-released for PS4/Xbone years later still count.

So which game earns the title for you, and why?

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series X will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

PGR could be huge esport wise if relaunched

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Witcher 2 followed by L4D 1-2.

PGR 3-4 and Crackdown 1 are my favorites.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Lost Odyssey. The best Final Fantasy game that wasn't made by Square.

Lost Odyssey.

Fable 2 or Alan Wake

And I can't see Left4Dead 1/2 and Witcher 2 as native 360 games, they were PC ports.

Dammit, Fable, I knew I was forgetting a major one. I really wish VGChartz had to the option to edit a poll without deleting it.

Dead Rising; though that one got a port for the Wii, but both games were fundamentally different in nature.

If that one doesn't count, then it's probably either Lost Odyssey or Alan Wake. The former because by being a very traditional turn-based RPG it ended up being one of the freshest RPG experiences of what was a very experimental gen, not to mention it was a very enjoyable tale altogether, and the later because it was a fun action-horror game with some quality line delivery (not on the level of Max Payne, but almost there) and an awkward yet interesting progression through the levels.

EDIT: shout-out to Fable 2. One of the most unique action/adventure RPGs ever made!
