Forums - Nintendo Discussion - How Crash Team Racing beat Mario Kart at its own game

IGN video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zih2IvU7owk

Good video. I fully agree. Crash is much more non-casual compared to Mario Kart. It offers more challenge and feels more rewarding. The sliding also feels perfect.

And next year everyone gets to play the best kart racing game ever made.

Yes, my favorite Kart game by far. A true gem.

Back in the day yeah..... but today? I dunno.... Mario Kart 8 is something special imo.

However since you cant play MK8 on the PS4 side.... this is a great addition.

Never played the original, so Im excited for it.

Commercially or critically? or some random stranger opinion?

Loved CTR when I was younger and played a lot, even played it on the Vita. I like Mario Kart a lot too, but I always prefered the feeling of Crash.

That's your opinion and not the majority of gamers opinion.

So definitely not commercially then. And critically, it mean some people's opinion because major customers don't think so

Commercially, it's no contest...

I want to try CTR though. Want to see for myself what all the fuss is about.
