Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Your Top Five Kingdoms in Super Mario Odyssey

All of them.

1. Metro Kingdom, the best realized platform jungle of the game, every bit of it makes for great use of Mario's beautiful moveset, making it the most fun Kingdom to traverse even with a lack of enemies to capture, is just that fun solely as Mario. Plus it has one of the greatest moments in videogame history.

2. Moon Kingdom, what a way to end the main game, the serene and epic surface of the moon with the lack of gravity for traversal, the blast of the caves with multiple enemie to capture as you make your way up to the chapel, the final duel and amazing finale, just really memorable both for platforming and story reasons.

3. Bowser Kingdom, really creative theme, is a tad linear in some sections, but it compensates with an excellent flow between sections.

4. Darker Side of the Moon, just a great big final level to finish up your adventure and that final climb with the main theme to the last power moon, beautiful.

5. Wooded Kingdom, just really like the atmosphere and the really fun vertical traversal of it all.

Metro Kingdom lowkey overrated imo

Yeah I agree tbh. I loved the festival part, that was awesome, but other than that, I don't get the love.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

seaside kingdom, cascade kingdom, sand kingdom, mushroom kingdom, wooded kingdom

What? You're saying you didn't love the amazing gameplay experience that was finding musicians in completely obvious places? Tsk tsk ...

That's the face of guilt. Mario is thinking "I had years to make this game and this is the best I could come up with? Come on Reggiegigas! You're not even holding the right system Reggie!"

1) Seaside Kingdom
2) Bowser Kingdom
3) Metro Kingdom
4) Wooded Kingdom
5) Sand Kingdom

The reason why for this order.... I don't totally remember tbh. I would have put sand a little higher, but I remember being a little disappointed with how empty it was. Bowser Kingdom had a nice flow to it from what I remember. Metro Kingdom was just awesome. Wooded Kingdom kind of had a neat 2 level deign going for it. Seaside was just really fun for me for some reason.

I’ll go with those five as well, although I’m unsure of the order.

I would've loved there to be a Mario Galaxy-esque space kingdom with the planetoids and microgravity mechanics of that game, complete with a sweeping orchestral score, but I guess you can't have everything in life.
