Doom and Skyrim were both reduced by 20% on the eShop not too long ago here in Europe , keep in mind it's possible on the switch to have eshop accounts from around the world you can be rather thrifty if you eShop around..... The globe

But they're worth 20 usd on other consoles. And keep in mind, that by conversion, Europe is already more expensive than US so 20% isn't really that much. I do take advantage of the eshop though. I buy from US and the state I chose has no added tax. In canada there is a universal 5% gst but also added qst so I chose a province with none of that. I buy from japan sometimes because they can be cheaper. All in all, I try my best to get these sorts of games but this small reduction isn't in my budget. For ninty games, I know they won't reduce in price even if wait a decade, so I just buy the ones I really like for full price like BoTW, splatton 2, XC2 and now smash. But even for first party, The games that I want but not the top of the list, like pokemon, mario odyssey, mario tennis, mario party, mario kart, donkey kong, etc etc etc I don't buy becuase I can't afford. And when I can afford, a new game that really catches my eye like megaman 11 or smash or maybe even metroid next year or the daemon x machina game comes along and I have to leave these games behind.  For wii u, i just bought the third party ones when they dropped to 20. That way I gathered cash and could get 3 games. With switch though discounts are much rarer and less valuable

There was a fairly decent first party sale a while back, think it might have been on the one year anniversary of the system but mk8d and splatoon2 were definitely reduced.

As for games costing different amounts on other consoles, cool, keep in mind how in some cases you are talking about games which have been on those other consoles for an extra year it more, Doom didn't launch PS4 @ 20 and if you wanna be thrifty with things like the stock of Truth for example you could but an xboX 360 and copy of that game used for around 50e, won't have it portable or on your new device, but that's the cost associated with those things over years old version.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Nice to hear a complete, unbiased tech review, all I have been hearing is, "crappier than PC/PS4/Xbone" which is not helpful. I will buy this...played 2-4 times on PC, and had fun, but I just cannot get into gaming on pc.

Try and buy everything this game comes with and tell me the price.

I was tempted to try to get into Diablo 3 again not to long ago. I already own the base game and the prices of expansions still being what they were made me pass.

FYI

Prices on PC right now:

Base: $20.00
Exp 1: $20.00
Exp 2: $15.00

That is $55.00 to get what you get on the Switch for $60.00

Thats quit expensive, the ps4 and x1 also got the shame physical version as switch and only cost 38 euros wirh 1080p 60fps

Cool, lets meet up at McDonald's or something so we can compare them directly on the go as well!

Oh wait...

I've heard nothing but good things when it comes to this port. I just watched the whole video, and it seems like it sits comfortably between last gen and current gen. Better resolution and a more stable frame rate make this port a winner, imo! That $60 price tag is really holding me back from picking it up, though.

Ugh, don't you guys have money?

Old, Ancient, Late, AND overpriced - I can see why they wouldn't want it

While the games they've ported have been old, Iron Galaxy have at least demonstrated a decent level of polish with their Switch ports so far.

IG, Virtuos (Starlink, LA Noire, Dark Souls Resmastered) and Panic Button (Doom, Wolfenstein II, Rocket League) have kind of become the "big 3" so far when it  comes to studios who port to Switch. Personally I prefer PB the best as their games are generally newer.

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023.

If I haven't played it, it's new to me!

You're saying it as if I don't know. But it takes about 6 months for prices to generally drop. Happened with the Wii u with games like black flag, happened with the PS3 and 360, happening with PS4 and xbone but not with the switch. I checked prices. Skyrim is almost a year old for example. I think LA noir is a game that has been reduced to 20. But all these games released around each other yet only one or two have been reduced like that

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

Hahahahaha :D

I had an inpulse to buy this, then I remember how boring I found D3 to be compared to D2 on the computer.

Have you tried it on any console? I think it plays much better with a controller. Although if you find it boring, this would be irrelevant.
