I think you missed my point.

My point was that PS4 and Switch only have a similar amount of software sales now due to having much more early on and basically since March Nintendo has been playing catch-up to get to these numbers. On a weekly basis Switch is normally largely outselling the PS4 both in terms of hardware and software, but due to the huge lead early on it doesn't show on the software totals yet - but definitely will during the holiday season.

Well ps4 won't be doing too bad for large periods of September, October and November.

I think what MHW did for PS4 this year, RE2 Remake and KH3 will do for PS4 next year. Get a month of breathing room from Christmas and then hit the treadmill again in late January. Also I can only guess that after Black Friday at PSX if they have one this year they would have to all but announce a price drop for Consoles. That alone will help keep numbers steady next year. Especially Japan.

I honestly think that the Classic PlayStation will be a bit to much for Sony not to 'win' highest rev, even though I expect the Switch to sell more 'actual consoles'.    Without the Classic PlayStation, I would definitely give this to Nintendo no problem.   Now this is another conversation for another day, but those things are selling gangbusters (both on Nintendo and Sony's side).  If you want a conversation that doesn't include plug and play, then yes I can see Nintendo winning this.  I just know that Sony can easily clear 1.5 million with the PSOne.  Easily.

Any thoughts on the other months?

Talking about revenue, Switch could easily sell more than double PS4s in December this year with Smash Bros (it did last year with Xenoblade that cant compete with Smash Bros), also when you talk about revenue dont forget that Nintendo along Switch has NES Mini, SNES Mini and 3DS. So with all that on mind there are minimal chance that Sony can take December in any case.

Are you saying Switch outsold Ps4 last year in December 2:1?  I don't remember that but it's been awhile.

KH3 is at 97 from 104 earlier. Nice.

My bad, Switch sold almost double in December compared to November, Switch sold 1.5 last December and 800k last November, while PS4 1.1m, but its expected that this December for Switch will be much stronger (probably 2m+).

Amazon yearly charts update (9 days since last update):

SSBU: 5 (-1)
Super Mario Party: 28 (-)
Marvel's Spider-Man: 33 (+4)
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu: 59 (-4)
Pokémon Let's Go Eevee: 81 (-3)
Spyro Reignited Trilogy PS4: 94 (-1)

Dropped out of the Top 100 for now:

Kingdom Hearts III: 100 (-)

Last week of tracking for Spider-man, did well for the short time it was allowed to compete at all.

Drops all around, though partly due to a screen protector getting counted again. Thankfully it looks like preorders are starting to recover a bit, though not enough yet for RDR2 or CoD to show up. Maybe next time...

Looks like Mega Man is about to be buried for good...

KH3 is at 99.

Funny that KH3 and DMC5 deluxe (100) are next to each other. Not only does the PS4 blue banner go perfect with their designs, but their box art have the same sky color. Could these two titles be connected?

These cards are really annoying aren't they ... sure is boring when they're leading the pack.

I find them exciting because digital revenue is the most valuable to these companies. More profitable then revenue through the retail outlets. Sony have been killing it in terms of profits this gen because of it.

@OT

I see the switch voucher has dropped to 56 on usa and 18 in Japan. Have Nintendo a problem here? Maybe it will improve with the release of smash bros.
