The Nintendo Switch Online card doesn't seem to be doing too hot after it's initial surge.

Seems to be the same with all Nintendo cards in general. They've never really been prominent on the charts at all.

Not sure why, heck I'm not even sure why anyone buy cash cards via amazon in the first place ;P

YEARLY CHART UPDATE

-Zip-

PS1 classic has not yet made it into the top 100 of the year.
That is not too suprising, because it would have to catch up to almost 9 full months of sales.
Yearly positions are much harder to gain/lose and we are now in a calm before the storm phase.

Except for the changed cards and peripherals, which is driving the games down. For instance, Octopath Traveler has only been overtaken by 2 games (Super Mario Party and Spiderman), yet lost 5 spots due to this

Octopath has not been charting good lately while peripherals are pretty stable.
I mean I could include them in the post, just need to add another filter and chart generator so mostly copy paste of the code for cards.
But I think that would make the post way too long.

Edit: Mh maybe I just test that in the upcoming days. Doesnt hurt anyone.

What actually went past were 2 Xbox gift cards (15 and 30$) and 3 Months PSN Membership card, no peripherals at all.

I would guess digital sales on nintendo platforms is a lot lower than its rivals.

I thought the reason for the Playstation cards doing so well on Amazon was because the Playstation Network kept getting hacked and peoples information got out, so now people rather put money on their accounts with gift cards instead of credit cards.

I don't know where I got that from but I thought that was the reason for the longest time...

This. I never put my credit card info on PSN, either cdkeys or amazon.

The slim PS4 has climbed to #14 in the Amazon JP rankings. The KH3 limited PS4 pro (now unavailable) is at #19. Neon Switch is at #28 and the Smash bundle is at #25. PS4 software is still dominating the top of the chart.

Ok, I think we should put to rest that Amazon JP isn't an effective way to know the trends of the Japanese market when we do have Media Create charts each week telling us about the Switch and it's software dominating the charts.

Actually all these titles chatting well on amazon JP will actually do decent numbers on mediacreate. Amazon gave us an early indication before we had MC numbers that it would sell well and the last few weeks the ps4 has had a good present on the software charts. The next few weeks will be the same with lots of ps4 titles releasing.

Spiderman is killing it still being nr1 damn!
