To early to tell on the Cowboys/Raiders trade. I'm leaning towards the Raiders though simply because the Cowboys offense sucks as a whole, adding a B tier WR doesn't magically fix the terrible Oline play, and the poor QB accuracy.

They basically traded Dez Bryant and a 1st for Amari Cooper. And they're on track right now to be an average team at best, so that pick could have easily been pretty high. Instead of paying a rookie cheap money they'll now have to pay Cooper. Unless he goes out and becomes a top 3 WR in the league, it's easily a horrific trade for the Cowboys.

Pretty amazing that they would pass on Earl Thomas, scoffing at the idea of paying a difference maker on defense and giving up a 2nd rounder, but they'll pay a guy who has been crap this season and give up a first.

Jerry Jones wants a SB before he dies and is getting desperate. The only positive that comes from this trade is that it gives Dallas a much better idea of whether or not they need to invest long term into Dak.
