Education, and health should be universal and free.

No such thing.  Your "Free" stuff is taxed out of your income at an extreme rate.  This would hike taxes up to ~50% of our paychecks.

Brace yourself for an even bigger tax hike, then. The  cost for Socialized healthcare and Socialized post-secondary education is significantly less than the extra 100 billion going towards your Socialized military-- though Socialized healthcare is known to cost less than West Korea's current system.

I don't even hear about the alt right much if at all. I'm not arguing they aren't bad people, I'm simply arguing Antifa is horrible and appear to be more prevalent.

Are they more prevalent? Or are the Media just making it seem like it?

Kinda' need actual statistics before assertions are thrown around.

Its people with left wing views that generally hate this country. Even Obama toured the world apologizing for the US. Now that's sad, having a leader that doesn't actually like their country.

You really dislike the left don't you?

Why does everyone in this thread act like there is only an x axis to the left and right when there is also a y axis as well. Anything too far from the center is a threat to society. I personally favor the left bottom centrist. Education, and health should be universal and free.

Indeed, the Center is the best place to be, there you can weigh up the arguments from the left or right and go with whoever is more compelling for the betterment of all society.

Although, that chart is pretty rough, you can be far-right pro-capitalist, but then support left-wing ideals like Universal healthcare/education and so on.

You sure about that? Because there are countries with said Universal systems with tax rates under 50%.

The United States Health and Education systems are already prohibitively expensive on a per-capita basis and bring in results that fall short of competitors.
So socialized healthcare and education can save the country money if implemented correctly in a cost-effective manner.

Ugh Antifa, biggest scum out there. They might not be fascist, but they really love using their methods.

Nothing is scummier than a Nazi, kkk, alt right member. Antifa has killed ZERO PEOPLE TILL DATE. The alt right are the ones brandishing guns and goon squads as intimidation against those who oppose them, aka anyone not white and Christian.

You might say 'both sides' are bad. Maybe engaging in identity politics is a bad idea?

Well if there are white supremacist groups making a ruckus, the media would love to cover it. I mean if the KKK and Nazis came together to harass democrats at restaurants, I'd like to think we would see some coverage.

I despise the left, they've become an extreme party. That's not just my view by the way, the wackiness of the left is arguably moving republicans to the center.

Cost effective healthcare generally means long waits and government deciding what is essential. Also, a lot of countries opt for a mix of socialized and private healthcare because often the social option kinda sucks. Otherwise everybody would just go with the social option.

I'd imagine that, if this were to happen, Republicans would simply stop paying taxes, en-masse, and dare you to try and arrest us all.

I saw plenty of coverage during Trumps campaign where some groups were giving the Nazi salute to trump.

I am not even American and I saw it, which says it all.

Well. The left isn't a party, so that's a mistake on your behalf.

The left is fine, the right is fine, it's just the far-left and far-right are shifting and becoming more vocal, which in-turn is grating to some people.
End of the day... Regardless of how much anyone whinges and complains about the left or right... Both political divides will continue to exist as long as people do.

More people in the center isn't a bad thing either.

How do I know? Because I work in emergency services in a system that is universal and cost effective.

It's not as black and white as that.

My own country has a mixed system. And the social option is fantastic.
What happens is once you exceed a certain tax thresh-hold, the social option will no longer be free, thus making private healthcare the more viable option.
The more you know.

Socialized healthcare in my country not only provides a better standard of care, lower wait times... But it does so at a lower price.
If I was to injure myself, I could walk into the hospital and get it looked at straight away.

I don't care what white supremacy groups say, think, or do peacefully. If they wanna give any candidate a Nazi salute, cool. Its the violence and harassing that get Antifa a lot of coverage.

Just because I despise the left doesn't inherently mean I love the right. However, I do see the right focusing on issues I care more about while the left focuses on things I disagree with.

I meant generally long waits. You live in Australia, that's considered a more efficient country but also has private options. Democrats want to jump into public entirely because all the resources should be for the public ofcourse.

In the US you actually qualify for free healthcare if you make less than $1200 a month I think, I'm not sure if that varies around the country. The people that actually struggle to pay for healthcare aren't poor enough to get it free and don't have great options at their employer. So the system is kinda broken for those in the middle. So we actually have a mixed system in the US and it could probably be fixed with better spending. Also, the people getting it for free should be expected to pay in more.

So it's an 'if' now.  And here you sounded so certain what <100 billion dollars going into Socialized institutions would do to your taxes.  Well, it's >100 billion, so what happened to your certainty?

The whole shtick about keeping protests "peaceful" is an oxymoron. A protest is a protest. It is not there to sugar coat things or pretend everything operates well in sociable conditions.

A protest is an end of a facade. It is not meant to be peaceful. The whole thing, about keeping protests peaceful, is as hypocritical as political correctness (whether you support it or are against it).
