Well, it's already in there so that actually makes some sense but I bet she would be just as bald as Kratos but uglier or she would have a blocky head like Aloy.

Many games with extreme effort, high development costs and much love to detail - that's why I love the PS4 / Sony so much! We live in golden times and are proud to be gamer :) The next big thing: Spiderman in the first september-days (and Dragon Quest XI for PS4 for me) : ) God of War, Red Dead Redemption 2 or Spiderman - Game of the Year 2018, my prognosis.

Dang thats impressive. That sounds like GOW may break 10 M possibly even BEFORE the holidays. Not something i expected.

Off topic, lokking at the sales i find it very interesting that initial & day 1 sales were much higher in NA, yet in the last few weeks EU sales have beaten NA sales

 Considering current numbers this suggests really good legs for the game. 

Makes sense. They gambled with the game and it paid off. You gotta give them props for that. End product was great and I look forward to the sequel on PS5.

The sequel should be cross gen. Its what they could have done for God of War 2, and should do for 5 as that would make its initial sales huge and make its legs big as next gen consoles catch up in userbase and that way it will also take advantage of next gen hardware.

I was a big believer in GoW’s quality and sales potential, alongside tmfwang and a couple other enlightened ones (I kid. But seriously). I could tell GoW was gonna be special, in part bc I became a believer in Cory Barlog as a writer/director. This news doesn’t necessarily surprise me, but it makes me really happy to see it officially happening, since GoW has become my favorite game of all time.

I'm 99% sure PS5 will be backwards compatible with PS4. BC will be a very important feature next gen to keep players within the ecosystem. Most of us these days have a digital library that we can't sell off or give to a kid in the family like we used to in the past and I'm sure Sony and MS know this. With PS4 having such a huge pie of the marketshare Sony would have to be mentally challenged to not capitalize on it by letting PS4 players carry over their library into next gen. MS has already made it clear that they will keep BC from here on out. In light of that I think this whole cross-gen business makes no sense. God of War sequel will likely release a year after Horizon Zero Dawn sequel (which I expect to be a launch title) and at that point I think Sony will be looking to drive PS5 sales and not PS4.

Do like GoW3 and TLOU seems to bring even more sales... wait 6-12 months and release the improved version.
