God of War has 94 Metacritic

Excellent scores. I was expecting 90-92. Congrats to SMS.

94/100 for a Sony game in this time and date is really high. Hope it can get better.

95 Now

Oof that start was brutal. 

Started out at an 87. 

Currently sitting at a 95? MC/ 94 OC. (Can't actually see MC at the moment.)

Sony Celestials make this game reach 96 or the magic number 97

Keeps fluctuating between 94 and 95 every time I refresh, so it's right on the cusp. As it is an exclusive game it will have more troll reviews, so I imagine it'll slide down to 92 or 93 once it's all said and done. I hope it goes up but that almost never happens.

95 now lets go for 96 then the ultimate number 97

This criticism about the gameplay being improved but feeling familiar and therefore less impactful than when experienced in the first game is just crazy to me.
Like I can't even understand that sort of criticism for any game at all (unless it was like game 5 with the same gameplay or something).

"It's more of the same but better"

I just don't see this as a problem. People WANT sequels with similar gameplay that's been tweaked and upgraded. Nobody bitches because 'the shooting mechanics in the latest Call of Duty feels unchanged", so why would they complain here?
