All of those have a chance of coming to Xbox. Nothing is binding them to PlayStation.

they all have a chance, but it's pretty small. most  non-AAA japanese games have remained off of xbox for a reason. though i get that after the last few months you would want them more than ever

Persona 5 is one of the highest rated games of the generation, hailed as one of the best JRPG's of all time. A full price release that sold more than 2 million copies, will go on to sell much more. Why would it not be a good idea to put it on Xbox? Lol if PS looses Persona that would basically be like loosing Bloodborne. They are of equal quality.

Sure, if you define 'possible' as a non-0% probability. The only Persona games that came out on an Xbox platform were the Arena spinoffs.

I never said that it's likely. It's just that I've seen much less probable things happen *cough* FFXIII *cough*.

And I never said that you said that it's likely, so I'm not sure why you're trying to smack down a statement I never uttered. Plus, I wouldn't call the situation surrounding FFXIII 'less probable' considering how much momentum the 360 had last gen and Microsoft's aggressiveness in bringing Japanese titles to the system.

it sold that well because of japan and the general ps4 audience having wider tastes

but i hope it happens for you. it's a better game than anything ms has produced for ten years, more people deserve to experience it

Doubt Nier Automata will light up numbers, still on Xbox though :)

Your avatar is very fitting btw

yeah enjoy it. playing games with 70+ metacritic is fun

I'll reply to both of your comments since you edited it.

Old: yeah enjoy it. it's nice for you guys to have a game above 70 metacritic for a change ;)
Not sure who you are referring to, I just beat God of War though.

New comment: yeah I agree those 70 meta games have character.

And how would you quantify the chances of each game?

I don't know, but who expected Xbox to get Nier Automata before rumors? I'm just saying, don't count it out. MS has probably done some work in response to the crazy backlash it's been getting these last 2 years. Seems like they are starting by rectifying their 2017 by getting some of PS4's stuff. Makes sense.

People who keep close track of video game news.

Back in November 2016, Yosuke Saito said that the team was considering an Xbox One release. I haven't seen such similar comments from Atlus regarding Persona 5 or SEGA regarding the Yakuza games.

Nier was a better game than Horizon, easily one of the best PS4 exclusives.

Nier released on steam day one. Far far from being a PS4 exclusive.

You are also ignoring Tales of Berseria, Uncharted, Gravity 2, Hatsune Miku, Digimon, Nioh, YS origin, Danganronpa, Senran, kingdom heart 1.5,2.5, Dragon Quest Heroes 2

Well you get the point. But yes I'm sure you are going to ignore each and everyone of those because "Nier is better".

Who knew a game releasing what 16 months later (that was never exclusive) could make someone so.. desperate.

Most of them are on PC as well so what's your point? I'm a PS4 only owner anyway, so it's water off a ducks back.

Point is, Nier was easily one of the reasons to get a PS4 over Xbox, now it isn't. If this had been Danganronpa or some of that other shit I haven't heard of that you listed, no one would care.

Great. I’ve almost bought a couple times on PS4 and PC. Will cop the superior Scorpio edition.

I think the PC version will still be the superior version, if you have PC.

Yakuza: Kiwami as well.

1 out of 7 games (and I'm probably forgetting a few) is still pretty damn far from "at this rate".

The events leading up to the fruition of the Yakuza series is very interesting. Sony was the only one that bought into the series' potential.

"At the beginning of the project we spoke to all the platform holders including Sony and Microsoft," he said, "Every platform holder was negative about this prospect, but we kept on pushing because we believed in the potential, and as we kept going one platform holder that showed interest and saw the prospects of this title was Sony.

That's how we started working with them, and that's probably not going to change."

From Eurogamer. The article is old, but I would say it's still relevant to today.
