God of War: fun combat
Persona 5: fun turn based combat and awesome music
Nier: Automata: fun sexy combat
Yakuza 6: fun bloody combat and a great game that brings the series together for a final farewell beautifully.
Detroit become human: fun without combat. I bought this at the last second with the preorder page before it released. Turns out I had a wonderful time with it. The production value and attention to details are extremely high with this game. This game really tailored to a desire of experiencing story turn based driven adventure and I feel satisfied by it.

My next gaming purchase will likely be getting PSVR with the Days of Play deal going on. Can't wait to experience what that must be like being inside the game world.

Not sure about what order, but Dark Souls III would probably be at the bottom here. I’m also not including remakes because otherwise SotC would be my number 1.

I chose to go with all exclusives because of the console specificity. If not for this fact The Witcher III would be my #1.

1 - Witcher 3 (I tought this long and hard, I think this game edges out number 2 by a very slight margin)

4 - Horizon Zero Dawn (complete edition or not)
5 - Persona 5

Gravity Rush & GR2 (Bought my PS4 for these games)
Mad Max (It is extremly rare that I like sandbox shooters but this game make me anticipate Rage 2)
The Last Guardian (Great game but i have unfortunatly not seen the same gameplay in Ico or Shadow of the Colossus)
No Man's Sky (Deliverd EXACTLY according to my expectations, played it until my eyes and head hurt. Also a reason I bought PS4)
Horizon Zero Dawn (Played it after Zelda BotW and that made it not shine as much as it could have done)

XCom2 (I am not skilled enough to play it but I like it anyway).
Just Cause 3 (A game I bought for the wingsuits but ended up playing trough)
