It seems like MS grabbed every major AAA third party game for their conference, other than Borderlands 3, RDR2, and CoD. What other games am I missing?

There’s games from Ubisoft and Bethesda, but those will likely stick to those companies’ own conferences.

Seriously? There's that Avengers SE game. Rockstar obviously has a game in the works.

You make it sound like I missed a ton, then you named one game. Square Enix has its own press conference, so we’ll see. Hopefully they give the game an additional showing at Sony’s conference. There’s a good chance that happens bc Sony and Disney have obviously formed a good relationship. Tho KH3 was given to MS.

Rockstar rarely shows any games at E3. Its kind of their thing—“too big to worry about E3” or whatever. It’s a toss up whether they’ll even allow RDR2 to be shown, but I think it’ll happen bc of their partnership with Sony.

Missing warner brothers aswell. Mortal Kombat 11, new rocksteady project and Soul Calibur 6 from namco.

Yeah, I thought about that after my post. WB is the one company that didn’t show at the Xbox conference that has no conference of their own. MK and Rocksteady’s next game will be huge.

Good show.
A lot of games, and many world premiers or first look at.

Watching the DMC trailer I was thinking "that's mot the main character people expected".
Ciberpunk world lokked interesting. The main character looked boring.

Interesting too that many trailers wanted to look more like movie trailers than game trailers.
Also noticed that most of the games have realistic artstyle to the point that looks fairly similar to the others one.

At the end, I believe Xbox fans are going to have a busy year in 2019 with many games.

4/10

Why that high? Microsoft did show a few more exclusives than anticipated. At this point, the multi-platform games don't count when you consider how well both the Switch and a PlayStation 4 has been doing. The studios they acquired, we'll see where that goes especially since they pretty much destroyed rare. And not enough gameplay videos for the exclusives they are hyping over.

We watch these conferences to be entertained. People who don't even game on Xbox were in for a treat by watching this conference. Sure, Microsoft only really "sold" us on Xbox by improving the Game Pass and confirming that they've acquired more studios - but at the end of the day, they had one hell of a great conference in terms of structure and priority. For Microsoft's standards, this was amazing, and you know you can't expect them to announce exclusives on par with Sony. From what it looks like they're probably going to have the best third-party conference.

A few of the most apologetic statements I've read in a long time.

He is not wrong though. At least, thats why I watch it and how I rate them.

So...? Can you blame me for that? Everyone was expecting Microsoft's conference to be crap as most of the recent news regarding Microsoft's gaming division has been nothing but disappointment. Crackdown 3 delayed, Microsoft searching other platforms, etc.

I don't watch E3 specifically for exclusive games. Maybe that's you, but I watch E3 to get excited about upcoming games in general, preferably new announcements that get me anticipated for the future. Microsoft proved to us that the launch of their next console is definitely looking brighter than what they did with the Xbox One. After all, this conference cemented the fact that they are investing in more first party studios, so hopefully, their future lineup won't boil down to the generic Halo, Forza and Gears trio. That's how I saw this E3.

Microsoft already has the most powerful console and the Game Pass is an incredibly good deal + more games will be coming. If you're not sold on that, you probably will never be sold on Xbox in general.

7/10...mostly it was 3rd party titles that impressed over the fresh IPs/exclusives.

I watch these conferences to be informed first and entertained a far second while not getting jerked around.  So by you're logic, I'm not wrong either.

No, you are not.So dont go around saying that people are fools for thinking different from you.

I think it was a really great conference, It got me hyped and i'm not even an Xbox owner. Granted, i'm only excited for the multiplats they showed (dying light 2, DMCV, cyberpunk) and cuphead DLC but I play that on PC. In terms of the show itself, well paced and lots of new games shown. I think the Gears, forza, and halo meme is still very much alive but they have a few exclusives like battletoads, crackdown and ori, with more DLC coming to sea of thieves, cuphead and some other title I can't recall. Also, the fact that they didn't mentione 'console launch' before shouting exclusive felt a bit scummy. Clearly we can read what kind of exclusive it is but still. 5 new developers are great, even if 4 were just bought, it's still a promise of some exclusive content to come in the near future.

Overall, great conference, solid 8.5. I don't see Sony beating this presentation, but Nintendo could have enough surprises to top it.

An article summing up the games can inform you better, and quicker. Microsoft didn't even make it clear what platform their games were going to be on. Had to wait until after for the rumors, the tweets and the articles.

That said I went into watching the conference knowing there was a very little chance of them releasing a game I actually wanted to play on their systems. Thus I was left with only one option - entertainment.

KH3, Jump force, and Tales of Vesperia will sell metric tons better on the PS4 so giving MS credit for them is a-little weird.  But I was entertained seeing them - so there's that.

In that sense, it was informative, and it gives the current and future Xbox owner more options.  And third party experiences can and have been better than a first party title.  But from my stand point, I go beyond the conference, beyond E3.  It's great that all platforms will share a certain multi-platform title.  And I'd like to know if there is something substantially different that each version of that title is offering.  But it also mostly negates the impact of that title presented at a conference when it's also available elsewhere.
