I'm not entirely sure what this means but:

• Monday, June 11th 2018, details coming soon
• Exclusive looks and deep dives on 4 upcoming Sony World Wide Studios titles
• Death Stranding
• Ghosts of Tsushima
• Spider-Man
• The Last of Us Part II
• Highlight on indies
• 3rd party publishers (as usual)
• No hardware announcements at E3 2018 (PS5 reference?)

Think this is being taken outta context.

Reads more to me like they have just announced the bulk of what they would be showing this E3 barring any surprises which obviously they wouldn't announce.

But is al in line of their recent push to focus on already annnounced titles and I won't be surprised if they anounce one or two new ones too.

I don't see how this is different from past E3 presentations?

Might as well save their cash, we already know about all that.

Listened to what he said on the blogcast, the only thing to takeaway is the way they'll present details on these 4 upcoming games will be a little different, perhaps going into a little more depth than usual.

But I wouldn't say it's not going to be a "traditional e3".

Sony always has extended looks at upcoming games during their live streams over the course of the event.

So they decided to add a bit more info to already announced games. Not very surprising since there aren't a lot of Sony studios which could announce something. Though I would hardly call this non traditional.
