1. United States: 60 intelligence officers
2. United Kingdom: 23 diplomats (this one happened 12 days ago)
3. Ukraine: 13 diplomats
4. NATO: 7 diplomats (and denying the application of another 3)
5. Germany: 4 diplomats
6. France: 4 diplomats
7. Poland: 4 diplomats
8. Canada: 4 diplomats (and denying the application of another 3)
9. Czech Republic: 3 diplomats

12. Denmark: 2 envoys
13. the Netherlands: 2 diplomats

So, in reading the Canadian one, it seems that they are expelling 4 people, but it sounds like the embassy and consulate themselves will still be open.



I always found this practice to be odd. Diplomats' whole existence is to do diplomacy. But the first thing they do after an incident that would require diplomacy is expelling the diplomats?



If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

It's because the diplomacy didn't work in the first place.

This is just words essentially, I don't think any of them are closing down their embassies.



Wonder when the Vgchartz cadre of "Russia is not that bad" apologists will show up and say something about this.
