Clearly the underrated underdog.

Wouldn't you also ban him for making statements like that since it would fall under flamebaiting aka "posting" or note on a Web site discussion forum, an online bulletin board, a Usenet newsgroup, or other public forum that is intended to elicit the extremely strong responses characteristic of flaming and active public discussions.

Thats just it, he isnt doing any of that.
While nintendo fans are clearly bullying him here.
But mod teams seem biased against him and are allowing the bullying to keep on going instead of punishing these nintendo fans jumping on him.

Nobody is bullying him, getting called out for saying dumb things is not the same as being bullied.

In this very thread he said that Switch is losing momentum. Rol & I posted all of the non-launch/holiday months and this is one of Switch's best. Its tied for 3rd in monthly sales and tied for 2nd in weekly average which is proof that momentum in not being lost.

Instead of asmitting its not losing momentum, he doubled down on the statement and followed it up with this

"labo will flop, and switch will flat line this year, and  that's if nintendo drops the price during the holidays"

Again, hes not getting bullied, hes getting called out for the incorrect & flammatory comments he makes.

I have been looking at the Best Buy charts daily and Switch has been consistently on top since the first week of March. In fact, as of the time of this comment the Neon Switch SKU is at the top of the charts on Best Buy. Beyond that, with regards to the second SKUs for all consoles (by which I mean the second highest selling SKUs for each platform), the Switch Grey is the best selling second SKU for the consoles.

As you can tell from my comment I said my prediction is based on the system " toping charts on Amazon and Best Buy and improving its position at GameStop". On Best Buy and Amazon the system has been topping charts, on GameStop it is not at the top of the charts (as both you and I correctly stated) but its position has improved. This means two major retailers have Switch in front with regards to chart position (a reverse of February where two out of the three, Best Buy and GameStop, had PS4 in front and where PS4 improved its chart positioning on Amazon).

Looking at Gamestop more closely of the top selling new consoles, the top selling SKU is a PS4 Pro pre-order that will not be released until April. The second SKU is a glacier white PS4 Pro which is currently on sale. The third SKU is a Monster Hunter GameStop exclusive PS4 Pro SKU that has been out of stock since February so its positioning is retrospective. There is also one Xbox One S Sea of Thieves SKU that is available for pre-order that The Switch SKUs and bundles that trailed both the PS4 Pro and Slim and many of the Xbox One S bundles in late-January and February have now overcome the Slim and the currently available Xbox One S SKUs. Considering that NPD does not count pre-orders towards a month's platform sales, I think Switch is in a good position (as of right now anyways) to take March. Two caveats are the NPD tracking period potentially favouring Xbox One and of course there is still one week of March left so things can change.

While I expect March to go to Switch (barring those caveats I mentioned being a factor), I am expecting PS4 to come out on top in April based on how strong pre-orders for the God of War PS4 Pro have been (I think this will be another game that will not only bring more players into the eco-system through the PS4 Slim but also push more existing owners to upgrade to Pro for that game). I am still undecided about my predictions regarding Xbox One and Switch in April with regards to which one will come in second and third place in April.

umm i check daily as well, as of now mario is on top followed by ps4, then xbox then switch it's been like that the whole month.

I think the link you are using is flawed. I used a similar link, because it was the only direct way to access the entire Best Buy database for games, but the link sorts not only based on best selling but also based on best ranking.

My link (posted below) does not take rankings into consideration (since it is not relevant to sales) and only sorts what is tagged as a "console" based on sales.

You wouldn't say that saying falling off the cliff, which is the beginning of this discussion would not fit that criteria. I am more arguing semantics, I am not saying for anyone to be banned.

I ever said falling off a cliff in this discussion, i said losing momentum thats about it, in fact i have already admitted i was wrong about the falling of the cliff comment last npd and in this.

"labo will flop, and switch will flat line this year, and  that's if nintendo drops the price during the holidays"

You said sales will flat line in this very thread, isnt that the same thing as fall off a cliff?

Iol then every one would be banned, almost everyone makes statements like that after a weak month, and switch had a very weak February.

If had a weak februari if you ignore logic yes

NO. if you are comparing ps4 vs switch sales, this month switch is lost momentum thats my opinion.

flat line means it will sell the same as last year.

The Switch is currently already close to 20 million. Just wait for their April sales briefing.

so that point is moot

It should be close to 40 million by holiday this year.

Frontpage has it at 15,2m.

Thats not really close to 20m.
Also even if the switch does sell 20m this year, it wont reach 40m by holidays this year.

Im not saying its impossible,... but its highly unlikely it ll be at 40m by the holidays.

Vgchartz

im going by Nintendo official report. It was 14.86 million in December. It has sold 400K in Japan alone since December.

400K japan

650K US

it should be at 18 - 19 million by their next investor meeting. (April)

Nintendo themselves stated they are planning to ship 25 - 30 million switches this year alone.

So 40 million is an understatement.

I think you are being too optimistic. I think it will between 16-18 million not higher.

Hes not bullied hes just being called out for incorrect & flammatory comments.

1) that sounds like a prediction.
2) thats not flammatory
3) you dont know if its incorrect
4) because of 2+3 you shouldnt "call him out" on it, which to me people do to a degree that looks like bullying.

Lets see how Labo does, and if Switch is flat this year.
If Switch sells more than 15m this year, and Labo is a huge success feel free to gloat at Quickrick for being wrong.
