Sales Team was already there.

It's a good tag! But very specialised.

 

That said I just gave a tick to the hide all avatar banners to test it out....

 

literally does nothing :D at least not on firefox, they're all still there.

The box only applies to your own banners. You have none, so nothing changes.

But.... I thought it was to hide... banners

It's worded exactly the same as hiding sigs on the forum.... unless that only hides my own sig as well? what the f

Trust me. Just look at what happened to me.

But the option suggests that it hides all avatar banners right? Christ these last 24 hours have me thinking I need to go on a literacy course in between my work days next week.... while I'm teaching classes lol

If people don't want to show they are a part of the site staff.... I don't think they should be a part of the site's staff. This can be a feature for supporters if they want to hide the supporter banner for whatever reason (maybe they just dislike the look of the banner), but staff should always have their staff tags imo.

Mods and Admin banners should not be hidden, imo

Members should be able to see who are the people that run the site, both for authority and accountability.


If a user was asked by a mod who hid their banner, that would lead to issues

I don't want a mod tag showing for me...   ...but I need to have it active, in order to fix things around here.
