Ill get hated for this but Halo 5. Playing it all again on the XB1X and it has suprised me.

I now hate you.

Haha join the club

OP - Ill add another game, Homeworld Deserts of Kharak.

I am a old school RTS fan, I found that game to be very refreshing and well designed bringing in new elements into the RTS genre. I am also very bias of the Homeworld family. One of my favourite gaming series. Fingers crossed for Homeworld 3 Sentinels from Gearbox and a remaster of Homeworld Cataclysm.. if they can find the license.

Also Rares Replay deserves more credit, probably the best games collection iv ever played. Doesnt really get mentioned much and sounds forgotten. One very good reason to buy a XB1 alone and its cheap.

I would play Halo 5 if Microsoft brings it to PC. They have brought all their games released in 2016 to PC so Halo 5 being a 2015 game should be considered too.

Arkham Knight is solid but it gets a lot of hate online.

GT Sport has poor reviews that no doubt have an impact on sales and reputation and many wouldn't play the game either way so they'll go by what the reviews say. Same with Rainbow Six: Siege and Driveclub.

Alien: Isolation was given 5.9 by IGN and IGN has a huge impact on many people's perception. Its the only source lots of gamers in my circle trust.

The Last Guardian had mixed reception by both fans and reviewers. Many people don't seem to understand the game and review it on a purely mechanical basis which doesn't serve it justice.

Infamous: Second Son isn't short, 2 playthroughs took me 21 hours. Its not at all repetitive, the gameplay had me hooked on both playthroughs. Like the other Infamous games its dayum fun to play.

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate was a good game and London was well crafted. Its all right gameplay wise too but the city is just soo good and really deserves more praise.

- Arkham Knight is fairly well liked except for the Batmobile sections and the story

- GT Sport got some poor reviews but has a very loyal following. Same for Driveclub and Rainbow Six: Seige

- The Last Guardian wasn't as successful as the other 2 games made by the company, but is still appreciated by a fair bit of the community

- Infamous Second Son's story took me about 6-7 hours to beat which is fairly short for an open world game. It doesn't have much side content either

- Everyone thought IGN was retarded for giving Isolation a 5.9. It's almost as controversial as their Pokémon Omega Ruby and Sapphire review.

- I can't really dispute you on Syndicate. It's a well crafted game, but I thought the combat was so repetitive and mind numbing.

Arkham Knight gets a lot of hate from online communities for those minor flaws.

GT Sport has a loyal following but its reviews will limit its ability to improve its following. Same with Driveclub, Rainbow Six and The Last Guardian. Some players of the genre are missing out just because their purchases are tied to review scores.

Infamous Second Son like any Infamous games requires 2 playthroughs for the full experience. You are clearly missing a big part of the gameplay. It seems you run through the game which is the reason you completed your playthrough so quickly. First playthrough took me 6 hours more.

I know the gaming community saw that IGN's review was wrong but I'm talking about people who only go by the scores which is most of the viewers.

Combat is crap in all the Assassin's Creed games so if you play them for the combat you could do better with another series.

The last guardian yes it had it's frustrating part but my god what a beautiful game

Oh, Tokyo Mirage Sessions I think is fairly underrated. At the very least, I think it should have gotten much more sales. It definitely has one of the most interesting battle systems I've seen in some time.

Agreed on this, I enjoyed it although I didn't finish it. I think it deserves a second chance on the Switch.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag doesn't get nearly enough love from people.

I had so much fun on my boat.

Final Fantasy Type 0 as well as XV. Both are so much better than the 13 Trilogy. Loved Ace is Type 0.

Until Dawn
Infamous second son
Don't Starve
For Honor
Mass Effect: Andromeda (yes I said it)

Mass effect andromeda wasn't the best game ever, but it got a ton of shit for minor issues. Really hope we eventually get a sequel.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I actually enjoyed it more than I thought i would, once I got over it's short comings and slow start, I found the further into the story I went the more it grew on me to the point that at the end I was hoping for at least some DLC to tide me over till a sequel was made.

Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot

- Fair enough

- Rainbow Six Siege is actually doing fairly well. In 2017, Ubisoft stated that the game had around 25 million registered players. That is very good for such a divisive game. GT Sport launched 4 months ago and has total sales of over 3 million units. It's above its rivals. Driveclub is over 2.5 million units which isn't horrendous for an initially empty game. The Last Guardian sold better than the 2 previous Team Ico games. It's the type of game casuals wouldn't have bought anyway.

- I've played through Infamous Second Son 4 times (2 times for each side). Personally, it did not make much of a difference for me.

- Good point. Studios do have to consider having to cater to the casual crowd

- I play them for the general atmosphere and mood that the environment creates. They've seemed to have been lacking in this since AC4. Syndicate isn't gonna be stuck in my memory like AC2 was. The parkour and the combat are kind of the only things I can appreciate in this series anymore.

I wouldnt hold your breath for it however i see them putting it on Game Pass for PC which will mean you will need to pay a small subscription. Or you fork out for a S model or something because unless you like using the Windows Store its probably a better option plus you will have access to Sunset Overdrive and Rares Replay, those alone are worth it.
