Wii -  68 million, 90 million - Wii HD in late 2011 - $249

360 - 38 million, 47 million - 720 in late 2010 - $299

PS3 - 31 million, 43 million - slim PS3 in mid 2009 - $299

 just over 4 million, but second place systems in Japan have a history of dying out quicker than other places in the world.  We saw it happen to the GC, Saturn, N64, Dreamcast etc.  Japan tends to heavily support 1 system with the second place system pretty far back, and this gen has been no exception so far.

 and yea...the PS3 is tracking slightly behind GC.

 What I liked about the data is that MH seems to have CRAZY legs, as well as PS3 baseball games old almost as well as PS2 version did, dispite the more than 10:1 disadvantage in hardware installation

 Actually the N64 had many games in the top 200 even in 01 , months afther the GCs release , so it didnt die out as fast as some bealive :)

Topic is about PS3 passing 2M consoles in Japan and PSP selling like Hotcakes. Yes the sales charts are in there, but if you read the title, this discussion is not about all the sales data inside of it, but about the PSP and PS3.

You are talking about what you THINK will happen NEXT week in terms of MK Wii, which has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this topic, so yes... you are trolling.

I am very suprised by the MH2G sales this week, this makes it 3rd week now correct?

PSP has been seeing an increase lately and not just in the last couple of week. I have only been paying attention to a few games lately for it but Crisis Core hasn't hit EU yet and has passed 1Million and we all MH2G has as well, so it is selling games.

Things are certainly looking better for the PSP fans which is great indeed as this bad boy has so much potential.
