Forums - General - Savage says: Oil for War.

I found one....that's why I posted.

And if you go through my history you will find many.

I find the war in Iraq far more disrespectful than you or I could ever be, however...so I have no fear of looking like an ass in the light of current situations. Liberalism may be a disease, but war mongering isn't the cure.

Are you saying that I am a war monger now? First a liar and now a war monger... this isn't the best way to become friendly with other people.

And neither is bombing an entire country for the perceived threats/wrongs of one man....and then asking for payment in return for said services.  How about you pay me now for the services I have rendered you?

Yeah Iraq! It's about time you payed U.S. back for invading your country. Outright chaos doesn't come cheap you know.

Well, I think when you invade to dethrone an evil *******, who used bio weapons on his own people, you think it would be called "liberate".

Bush and his comrades f***ed up royaly though, we should've gave iraq a new leader, and got the hell out.

Iraq deserves to pay us every last f***ing cent we've wasted on their betraying asses.

We tried to help them, and in turn, our country is ending up in the sh*tter.

I simply refuse. All I was attempting to do with this thread to get people thinking about solutions. Obviously this won't go anywhere in this community. BTW that one man was the leader of that country. He had NUMEROUS UN resolutions stating that he should disarm and allow UN Weapons inspectors free access to all resources. He never did that. Are we going to simply let one man oppose the entire world community?

We know that Saddam had chemical weapons (a type of WMD) because he used them against the Kurds. He probably didn't have stockpiles, like the CIA said he did. There are apparently new reports stating that if he gave the order, he was 4-5 weeks away from stockpiling chemical and biological weapons. No links, just reports. Sorry.

So now that we have established we won't agree on why we are there, what do we do now? Agree to disagree and part ways? Or look for solutions to our pickle of a situation?

Insted of understanding the error of your ways you want to agree to disagree??

Going by your logic then the US ows a lot of money to the terrorist for destroying the World Trade Center so if Iraq should pay you for your services over there then you should pay the terrorists for their services at your end.

By the way, For you "touchy hippies", i'm not saying iraqi's deserve to die, just that they need to pay the piper for their misdeeds against us.

I'm pretty sure Saddam's damming of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers has dealt more damage to Iraq's infrastructure* than what we've done over the past few years.

*Using the term rather loosely to include the Iraqi people's general way of life. Things such as farming, etc.
