300k is actually quite a lot but you make a good point about MH. I expect both to sell around the same amount this year.

The entire world is switch biased. Its only cause of this stupid bias the console is doing very great numbers! Unbiased people will obviously buy the objectively best console, the PS4.
Bet with Intrinsic:
The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

No. The theory is that Amazon console sales favour Switch while retail favours PS4 and even more so Xbox. It was bought up, at least from my perspective, just to keep NPD expectations in check when looking at the Amazon charts. Nothing malicious.

Well, yeah, in all seriousness, Amazon does has somewhat (not too much) of a bias for switch. But everyone knows that. Thats why people dont use amazon to predict the numbers. Just the rankings, where Amazon has been right 85% of the time.
edit: And the months it doesnt predict correctly is partly due to the NPD tracking period offset. For example, Amazon had Xbox as #1 last november. However, PS4 won that month because the tracking period ended like Nov 24. And majority of X1 sales happened in the week in which was cut off, due to the $189 price that week.

I agree with this.
I think Switch is gonna ship over 3 million this quarter, while i'm not too sure with PS4... i believe 2.7 million are possible with Monster Hunter World.
