I agree 100% and don't think Sony properly forecasted the success of the November $199 price drop or the lack of success of SW:TLJ and the PS4P bundle.

Do you have any data on PS4P, because that looks like it's not having supply issues?

Nope, its 2.9 million as of Dec 31.

Sold-73.6 million

Shipped-76.5 million

 

They could theoretically ship 1 million less than they sell this quarter and not have massive stock issues.
