They funded the second and the third tho. The first one can go multiplatform, but the others can’t. It’s really that simple, doesn’t really make sense to keep asking.

The person didnt ask directly about the second or third game though did he?

I can't believe people defend this nut job, he doesn't have to respond to anyone but instead decides to be a prick constantly. People are wanting to enjoy his game and express their interest and in return are attack , not everyone is caught update in gaming news. Lets not pretend he just attack people asking "dumb questions" just look at his past rants.

If you want to enjoy his games buy the platforms they're on that's what it comes down to.

The logic behind continuing to nag people is to annoy them to a point where they think twice about signing bullshit exclusive contracts. If people stay quiet these things will just continue to happen and it will get worse.

If it wasn't for that "bull$hit exclusive contract", Bayonetta would never had gotten a sequel much less a trilogy. Fact of the matter is the series still exists because Nintendo took a chance and got SEGA to "lease" or whatever the rights to continue the franchise and funded it themselves at that.

That is not true at all. There was always a possibility for Bayonetta. If not Nintendo, there could've been an opportunity later down the line that would've benefited more people. If I have to choose between exclusive bullshit now or multiplatform game later, of course I would choose later. It's not like there is a shortage of games and we desperately needed Bayonetta right now.

"If this guy hadn't done that" is generally a stupid rhetoric, since there is always someone else who could've done the same and probably even better.

I don't see the logic in port begging for a game that's exclusive. Either buy the platform it's on or shut up about it.

Exclusives are what truly defines each console and what set them apart from each other. Also a lot of games wouldn't have existed without exclusivity deals. If it wasn't for Demon's Soul, Dark Souls or that genre wouldn't have existed.

Its part of his character, and I find him pretty hilarious. He banned me when I ask him when does Bayo2 release on my Dreamcast. I'm proud of it. Well, I'm not, I was just wasted with my friends xD.

It's all good, PS4 got Nier Automata :) PG spreads the love around.

Almost all the love, if you count the PS4 version and exclusive the busted port job on PC, that still hasn't received patches. They also did a bad job with Korra in general and their TF game is now removed from storefronts, meaning PG love is only spread on two platforms, with another two left in the dark.

Their games aren't 100% the best but its there.  There was also TMNT on PS/MS consoles, along with TF but that's licencing issues with Activision so it's not PG to blame.  PC reccently got Bayonetta and Vanquish, sure it's last  gens game but with improvements that I'm sure current gen owners are envious.  Bayonetta 3 is the only game that's fully exclusive to one console.  And MS scraped the Scalebounds game.  So which two platform did PG left in the dark? Again, just depends on how you see it cause I see a bit of PG on all platforms.

Considering PS4 gamers saved his company's ass he needs to give them more respect xD

Many of the head people at Platinum have been quoted as saying they wouldn't mind being a Nintendo second party developer or bought by the company. So they might have a little more loyalty swinging that way if anything it seems.

I'm sure they wouldn't, they are desperate for money and Nintendo's wallets are big. Still all there games that were successful to any degree were successful on PlayStation and he is dissing his only decently big fanbase not to mention he looks like an immature little kid.

That could change with Bayonetta on Switch of course as switch games sell very good.

Bayonetta 2 started off as a 360/PS3 game. Sega cancelled it. If Nintendo didn't pick it up, it wouldn't have been released. It was dead IP. This isn't the case  of hardware maker taking a hugely popular game franchise and locking it behind exclusivity. The revived a cancelled game. If Sega thought Bayonetta 3 would be a big seller. They wouldn't have made an agreement for the third game. As much as enjoy Bayonetta it's a niche franchise. If you're a fan of the series, you should be happy to have option to continue playing it.

Didn't he do the same thing when Bayo 2 was announced?

So? If those games hadn't existed, other, potentially better games could've existed. What's your point? Just because I understand the reason why exclusives exist doesn't mean it's a great concept for consumers.

As I said before "If this guy hadn't done that thing then, this would've never happened" is a stupid rhetoric that holds no value. That's like saying "if that one caveman hadn't invented fire, nobody else would've. It completely ignores reality and the fact that this is a planet of a few billion people and thousands of companies.
