A game comes with it, it will definitely not be forgotten in one day lol. |
Doubtful. For one, just making the actual cardboard device sounds like it can take like 2-3 hours for each one. So just putting together the cardboard last longer than many games made. Then add to the fact that this is something the kids will have made themselves and they will treasure/appreciate it more and think it is cooler.

Sounds like an expensive experience, but at least I got 2 friends with a switch, I can borrow from them while they're not using. .Extra 2 pairs of joy cons. Check |
It only requires 2 joycons. One attached to the visor and one in the back of the backpack.
The Visor one I assume tracks your rotational movement and so on and the character mimics that on screen. You know if you turn your body left or right, ect.
There is then strings attached to your legs and arms by just cardboard. These strings go back to the backpack and are attached to some sort of pully system that when you say thrust your right arm out, a piece with reflective tape on it moves up and then respectively back down when you retract your arm. That is what the joycon in the back of the backpack tracks. It uses its camera to read those reflective tape movements and then transfers that to screen. It knows that when the reflective tape moves up that you just punched with your right fist. It knows when the refelective tape for the left leg moves that means you stepped forward with that leg.
So no, no extra joycons, just a creative way to simulate having 5 joycons.
