One thing’s for sure, no way Sony is going to copy this move.

You mean things for kids with interaction between a physical object and your game, like Wonderbook ?

or creative things like papercraft with Tearaway ?

(I'm just playful, I know papercraft in tearaway is not the main goal of the game unlike Labo.)

I'm a father with a young child, but I'm not excited by this (maybe even a little disapointed). Why pay € 400 (Kimishima said he thinks he's touching an audience that does not have the switch yet, or even doesn't play video games usually) to play with cardboard objects that I can do for free ? Certainly, I will not have the interaction with the video game as it is necessary for the piano or the house, but for games like fishing or being like a robot, I already do it very well by myself.
I can nevertheless understand their appeal when you already have the console and you are not very handy, otherwise no. There are much better options for much cheaper. I feel like it's Wii Music all over again but I could be wrong of course.

Well, currently I'm still waiting for more details (software part especially). Only time will tell wether Labo will meet the expectations.
