umm basically that nintendo way over shot there forecast even after. company's are wrong all the time with forecasts.

Ps4: 19 million

NSwitch: 18 million

Xbox one: 4 million

I prefer the ps4 console and dislike the NS so my prediction might be slightly bias. But ps4 should keep strong sales in 2018 as Red dead redemption 2 comes out and other very good first party titles.

NS will sell about 13-14 mil this year and this despite having 3 months no of console sales in 2017. So combine 3 months of no console sales and people owning the switch right now trying to get their friends to buy the Switch it will have a strong 2018.

I feel sorry for microsoft but just not much going for them and they only seems to be able to pick up a few sales during the nov-dec months.

No way NSwitch will sell that badly. This year (2017) it had 3 months with no sales and still manage 13 millions sales. Add people owning the switch trying to convince their friends to get one it should have a decent 2018, absolutely.

2 months without sales, it launched March 3rd. I actually expect switch to be down a little YoY for the first half of the year before accelerating in the second half, so my prediction is around 15m.

14 million isn't bad. And yes Switch didn't have 2 months but I don't think thats a big deal. I'm willing to bet that from January- March 2018 Switch will sell less than it did March 2017.

But I agree Switch should be up next year, from its ~13m or so this year.

I think Switch if it does well can do like ~18m next year (2018)..... though I still see PS4 beating it slightly in 2018 sales wise.

You expect Switch to sell less than 4.7 million during the first half of the year? That's pretty pessimist.

You are basically predicting less than 800K monthly avg, that's already kinda low for months like April/May , and all know that January to March are way stronger (January in Japan, February/March in US). Oh, and of course, June.

In others words: No freaking way Switch is down YOY for the first, and as well second half of the year. Switch will be up YOY for every quarter of the year, the only one which may be down YOY is the first quarter, yet is still unlucky.

I agree. people forget switch had a huge launch.it will be down europe and US for sure. 

I predict that PlayStation, X box and Nintendo will sell a lot of units in 2018 lol.

I am assuming these predictions are consoles sold-through to consumers for January 1st 2018 to December 31st 2018.

(Wish we had more knowledge about 2018 to make better predictions...)
