Well, I guess that isn't surprising coming from someone who thinks that going from 13 million to 12 million is "falling off a cliff".

it sold like 7 million in 2014, that's around 50% less from 2012-2013.

Hahaha, now you're not even trying.

Seriously, how hard is it to look up these things on a website solely dedicated to console sales?

He's talking about your claim of Switch "falling off a cliff in 2018". You can't even remember the wacky stuff you say

to people expecting 20 million, yea it will be falling off a cliff.

It's not about people expecting, Nintendo has stated this is what they plan to ship in 2018. Your proclamations however, are based purely in speculation and unauthenticated "data".

Its on track to do similar numbers as PS4 in 2014 in the US & globally.

So if its not setting the world on fire than neither was PS4 in its first year.

Oh i mean that the Switch isnt doing Wii or DS numbers in the US. Those systems set the world on fire.

Its doing right between DS & Wii in their first full years.

DS Global sales 2005-11 million

DS USA sales 2005-2.6 million

Wii Global sales 2007-16.5 million

Wii USA sales 2007-6.4 million

Switch Global sales 2017-13 million

Switch Global Sales 2017-4.5 million

Those Switch sales are just general estimates based on their 10m announcement & NPD leaks thru Nov.

Again you're comparing apples to oranges, Switch already had it's first year. Don't you think Nintendo is in a better position at present time to predict a 2ND year of a console after seeing how well it performed it's launch year? Even Nintendo underestimated the potential of the Switch BEFORE it was released.

You cant compare fiscal year shipments to calender year sales, they arent the same thing.

Okay... All that proves is that literally none of your numbers are correct. I was at least giving you the benefit of the doubt on 3DS selling 14 million in 2013, but I guess if you want to be completely wrong, so be it.

3DS shipments in CY 2013: 12.90 million
3DS shipments in CY 2014: 7.67 million (Not 7 million)
Difference: -40.4% (Not 50%)

nintendo kept its forecast way above expectations for the second year as well.
