Yerm said: i would say Xenoblade 2, but im still playing that. so until i can offer fair judgement on it, I will say Splatoon 2. it felt like there was no transition going from Splatoon to Splatoon 2, it really just felt like the game got an update and i kept playing the original. the gameplay is still fun and inventive, i love Salmon Run, and from the pool of Switch games we have right now, it is easily one of the best |
I just bought this game yesterday, but it feels really... unpolished to me. I am absolutely nowhere yet, so this is a super early observation, but I've noticed a typo already, and the game itself is sort of blurry from the scaled resolution, and sometimes the physics are a bit wonky after jumping.
This doesn't mean it isn't a contender for game of the year, as I have played very little of the game so far, and it's nowhere near Skyrim levels of bugginess.
I guess the reason I point this out is because I haven't heard people bring this up, so I didn't know if it's something that only I'm noticing.
Splatoon 2 is probably my pick from the Switch games I've played this year besides BotW and SMO.
