I just bought this game yesterday, but it feels really... unpolished to me. I am absolutely nowhere yet, so this is a super early observation, but I've noticed a typo already, and the game itself is sort of blurry from the scaled resolution, and sometimes the physics are a bit wonky after jumping. This doesn't mean it isn't a contender for game of the year, as I have played very little of the game so far, and it's nowhere near Skyrim levels of bugginess. I guess the reason I point this out is because I haven't heard people bring this up, so I didn't know if it's something that only I'm noticing. Splatoon 2 is probably my pick from the Switch games I've played this year besides BotW and SMO. |
i have noticed these things, but remember that the original Xenoblade was a polygonal mess if you want to talk about it graphics-wise. ive been enjoying it purely based the gameplay, which begins to feel a lot more refined and user friendly than the past 2 games very quickly. and if you can just learn to focus on that, you will quickly not even notice the distortions
