There is no confirmation out there, but from ResetEra and GameFaqs it looks like embargo will be lifted on November 30th, the day before the game comes out.

Some of the things I'm hearing about Xenoblade 2 from reviewer friends are... not great. This game undoes a lot of the things Monolith Soft learnt with Xenoblade and Xenoblade X. Very long cutscenes, lots of talky-talky, constantly being nudged along a path, bad voice-acting etc.

on Resetera he isnt the biggest fan of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 then again it does go against some of the tropes that’s x didreally well.
