Not sure if the Japanese celebrate Christmas, with them being a buddhist country. However, if Nintendo could supply more, i'm sure it could easily sell 100k+.

80k+ in a week Pokemon released as well, Pokemon Switch and Animal Crossing Switch are going to monsters.

Switch with 54% of the market the week Pokemon releases on a diffrent Nintendo System. That's impressive.

Switch is probably getting around 90k weekly shipments right now and selling through basically everything, japan is just crazy for the Switch.

They're mostly secular, and yes they do have Christmas. 

On another note, it looks like the Switch just became the official game platform of Japan or something
