I fully anticipate PS4 to beat Xbox by about 300-400k. I underestimated the power of PS4 at 199, and essentially 150 at GameStop. X could have a monster month and it could still loose.

Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

I'm pretty sure this is the first holiday(not including 2013) where Microsoft had a significantly worse deal than Sony. They used to make their original consoles very competitive from a price standpoint and threw in a game. Now they're selling an S for 189$  with 500GB versus a 200$  PS4 Slim 1tb. I feel like i'm missing something? Because there's no way that deal can be so bad.

I Think Microsoft might be planning on making that the permanent price since they never mentioned the price going back up.

Ya I'm thinking it may be permanent, or 199 the permanent price. And the only place Xbox seams to have the better deal is at target. 189 plus 25$ gift card. Even then though after u account for the extra 500gb the deals are about the same. However ur typical holiday shopper isn't going to put much value on the extra 500gb hard drive.

We got some bad news, buiness article saying switch and x were some of the best sellers on BF with no mention of ps4, saw it on resetera. Seems running out of stock before BF was ps4's biggest weekness.

This article is only referring to Target stores. Wouldn't say it's bad news.

It’s most likely two things...the UHD drive and not wanting to compete too much with X1X. Sony clearly does want to compete.

"I mean this week it isn't close. Xbox and PlayStation pretty much far outpacing it.

Overall month though Switch is doing very well. So we will see how it shakes out"

This is what I expected to happen. Still think Switch will come in third.

I figured this would happen. People go out shopping on Black Friday for deals, which Switch did not have.

I expect Switch to shine in December, though.

he doesn't wanna give it away, but black friday week accounts for 60% of sales during novemeber. switch never really trounced ps4 in weekly sales in the us, the biggest gap switch could have made between ps4 is what? 100k for the 18 days which it never did before. ps4 is way ahead of switch, and xbx x might be close because it launched a new system, but who knows.

he has made multiple comments in that thread regarding X1 and PS4 having great weeks. If that is the case, when X preorders are considered, no way Xbox isn't above PS for the month if what he has seen is true of other stores
