REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With Black Friday quickly approaching, Nintendo is offering a variety of products to make holiday shopping a little bit easier and a lot more fun for everyone. These deals include two items that will make it easier for people of all ages and interests to get in on the fun and adventure of The Legend of Zelda series this holiday season.

The first is a Link green Nintendo 2DS system with bright orange buttons that comes pre-installed with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D game at a suggested retail price of only $79.99. This is ideal for young people who want to be introduced to one of the best games in The Legend of Zelda series on a durable and accessible portable system. The second is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Explorer’s Edition, a bundle that includes the critically acclaimed and award-winning Nintendo Switchgame, a 100-page explorer’s guide and a two-sided map at a suggested retail price of $59.99.* The included guide and map are great for people new to the series, as well as people who haven’t yet had the opportunity to dive into the massive adventure.

I have a 3DS, but man that 2DS would be a great addition to my Zelda collection. Gonna have to pass on it though because if I get another 3DS or a 2DS, it would be a NEW 2DSXL or NEW 3DSXL (I hate how they named them). I just cannot justify buying an old model that comes with a game I already have a physical copy of.

It's class if you see on the front page, most weeks the 3DS is battling the X1 for it's spot while the Switch fights the PS4, the end result... each week there are as many Nintendo consoles going into the wild as there are a combined number of PS4/X1

After the WiiU and fairly dull start that the 3DS had it's nice to see Nintendo back on form so much, I just hope they don't get ahead of themselves.

Man, that title and initial image scared me. I thought it might have been a bundle with the Switch itself at first, and if that was the case, I would have had no choice but to get sucked in. Maybe I need to stop visiting video game sites in general, because the wait on my own Switch is torturous at times.

I want that map!
