Bayonetta only got acquisitioned by Nintendo because the company literally wouldn't have been able ot make that game without Nintendo. From Software has the funds and money to do that tenfold. 

I've never given that story much credence. Bayonetta was a relatively popular game and Platinum are a fairly praised studio, there's no way Nintendo were the only hope to keep the franchise alive. They just gave a really good offer.

Throwing around many is common practice in gaming. Third parties don't make games exclusive out of charity.

No shit But I don't think Nintendo is at that point where they think doing such is important enough, especially for From Software. I doubt they're thinking "Damn, we better make an exclusive Souls game!"

Around 3mil for Bloodborne and what, about 1mil+ for Nioh?

For relatively niche titles of a more 'mature' genre, those numbers are no joke.

I don't see why it'd be so crazy.

it’s nice to hear that nintendo is supporting more kinds of games.

from a business perspective, you’d want as many different kinds of games as possible on your hardware.

i’m glad nintendo is finally figuring that out instead of worrying about having a bad reputation with parents who don’t want their kids playing doom or whatever.

Eternal Darkness 2 and Bayonetta 3 would be a good start. Splatoon is amazing of course, but also would be cool to see a high quality more realistic FPS exclusive for a Nintendo console like Perfect Dark and 007 back in the day.
