Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Your Switch pet peeve?

It's crashy. I've owned mine since launch and by now it has crashed on me about 5 times. Twice within the last month, when it refused to show me a picture on screen after sleep mode.
The only thing that will still show up is the shut-down/sleep mode menu, if you try to shut it off via that menu it just freezes.
I've lost 10 minutes of precious golf story gameplay dammit!

Edit: Also that news thing you mention in OP. XD I actually made my japanese eshop account today, saw the news and went 'Oh, no.' ;____;

I also have a more specific Splatoon 2 pet peeve: for some reason, jumping is the B-button in Splatoon 2, while it's the X-button in both Splatoon 1 and Breath of the Wild. It's confusing and I keep opening the map.

Can't you change the jump button in BOTW to B?

Also the reason why they swapped the jump buttons from Sploon to Sploon 2 is cause they want the jump button right next to the right stick.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Can you not change that?

I feel liek the only thing in Breath of the Wild one can change is the Jump button with the run button. I feel like I made that change.

So you coudl change it in Breath of the Wild, if you can't in Splatoon 2. That way those 2 games will play similar for you. I doubt you are playing Splatoon 1 anymore, so that tendency should dissapear after awhile.

Thanks, I didn't even think of changing the buttons in BotW (instead of changing them in Splatoon 2).

....There is a DPad on Switch guys...?

That I don't own one.

No eShop music.

That is all.

My main issue with the switch is now I'm aggravated every console maker isn't doing this. When I play HZD I just wish I could take it with me.

That would be nice.

I personally hope that they would change it up with each new game that comes out.
For example, I would love to open the eShop on October 27th to hear "Jump Up, Superstar" when I go to buy Super Mario Odyssey.

I simply want menu music. The rest is stuff that people want today but I think we all know will be here one day in the not too distant future. However, I actually fear they will not give me menu music ever and that sucks.

Because there's no Internet browser, I can't authenticate with the free Wifi at university, so I can't play online there. Even though they "claim" the screen should pop up, that's only happened like twice since March. It usually just says it connected but doesn't work because I can't authenticate. If I could access the browser myself, it would work fine. :|
