I think we can say in the USA switch is doing very well, especially considering its price. But if the PS4 is close, I think we can also say that its doing very well considering its 4 odd years old.

So what I am saying is both Switch and PS4 are killing it, the less said about Xbox probably the better. The XBX will see an upturn for at least November, but will the XBX turn out to be the new console for MS or just a Pro and a console that adds to sales, if its the latter they have massive problems because the XBS is not doing that great right now.

This has consistently been it's best year thus far.  So it's not just doing well "considering."  It's doing really well.

Not even close. While the Wii U had a better launch, that initial Nov.-April period still favored the PS3 & 360. For the first six months, the 360 sold 1505k, the PS3 sold 1270k, and the Wii U sold only 1110k. If you exclude that launch holiday, it was even worse:

PS4 had an awesome first September, I assume due to Destiny. 



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

True, but GAF's prediction threads were basically the only way we've been able to pluck at specific numbers in 2017. If there aren't any leakers coming to this site any longer, we're likely only going to have console placements from here on out.

True, but GAF's prediction threads were basically the only way we've been able to pluck at specific numbers in 2017. If there aren't any leakers coming to this site any longer, we're likely only going to have console placements from here on out.

I will add that Matt is very open on Twitter. Disagree with him from time to time (esspecially on the whole lootbox thing), but he is easy to talk to and will have a discussion. Alright guy
