Switch and PS4 must still be neck and neck, been like that since April. If Switch is killing it, than Xbox One and PS4 were serial killers when they launched

Uh... no. Not at all.
X360 Monthly | X360 LTD | PS3 Monthly | PS3 LTD | Wii U Monthly | Wii U LTD | |
Nov | 326 | 326 | 197 | 197 | 425 | 425 |
Dec | 281 | 607 | 490 | 687 | 460 | 885 |
Jan | 231 | 838 | 244 | 931 | 57 | 942 |
Feb | 160 | 998 | 127 | 1058 | 66 | 1008 |
Mar | 192 | 1190 | 130 | 1188 | 67 | 1075 |
Apr | 295 | 1485 | 82 | 1270 | 36 | 1111 |
Wii U was behind PS3 by its fourth month and behind Xbox 360 by its fifth month. Not to mention just how few units it was selling each month. Wii U was only ahead for any length of time because of its launch sales. It crashed and burned afterward.

The Wii U had like two months that were pretty good. Two holiday months. The sales then absolutely collapsed in January-February. In 2013, it sold 3.1 million. In the first 12 months - which includes it's launch, first holiday, and part of its second holiday - it sold around 5.4 million. And the Wii U was abbundant as Nintendo unwittingly stuffed the channels.
As of the end of August - only 6 months - the Switch has blown past that and is at over 6 million. And those 6 months include no Holiday months. And it launched in March. And it was pretty badly supply constrained in most major markets.

You're not entirely wrong. But I meant these numbers:
Wii U barely outselling the Wii (considered a dead console at that point) and the DS (definitely dead).
Outsold by both Wii and DS.
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Well, they launched during the Holidays, and PS4 didn’t have a simultaneous global launch so it had more stock set aside for the US, but sure?
PS4 really took off in September with Destiny but Switch certainly seems to be holding its own compared to XBO. There’s no need to put XBO sales on ‘another level’ compared to Switch. Look at XBO numbers May, June, July, August, September 2014. Switch is beating it every month. In its strongest market!

Do you have evidence that PS4 is up YoY?

Yes we do. Look to past Boultros NPDs or some VGC articles. In one of those on the last month PS4 was slightly ahead YoY for cumulative sales.

I see. So definitely closer to 300K for Switch by that logic. What was WiiU LTD in the US?
Also, I don't see the usual top 10 rankings, even on GAF. Are those not communicated anymore?

NPD seems to have delayed some info. So expect rankings on Monday.
And do you mean the current LTD or LTD up to the week number the Switch is at?
Total LTD: 5.69 million
LTD at 26 weeks (I think I have this right): 1.168 million

So the ps4/switch can both do well anf coexist with each other right?
