That's the thinking that has resulted in games being unreleased as buggy broken messes, massive day 1 patches, on disc DLC, and countless other horrid practices. |
Publishers are walking a thin line and they 're not safe from consumers backlash. I don't agree with practice of many of them, but at some point, you can't prevent gamers to buy their CoD or BF if they don't feel like there's any good alternatives. But you know what ? At some occasions, consumers reacts to previous experiences, just look at Titanfall 2, Watchdogs 2 or AC Syndicate.
