GTA V5 is an absolute bargain at full price for the amount of content it offers. There must be 100's of hours in that game possibly 1000s and the game is programmed with incredible coding skill. Still amazed at the ps3 and 360 versions which are amazing. The PS4 and Xbox One taking it to a higher level especially with the first person view which I find more immersive. Just mountain biking down a mountain is more game than many others have offered. I have no problem paying full price for games like GTA, Skyrim, Fallout etc which offer huge amounts of content. However I have a problem spending £5 or even less on some indie game that I will lose interest in, in maybe a couple of hours which is very poor value.

I'm just making the point its what the market will bear. Much of the discounting at retail level is because a game is stuck on a shelf with people not buying it at full price, so gets heavily discounted and effects digital prices too. The game is perceived as poor value and people don't want to try it unless very cheap.

How many times have they had to create new batches of GTA V5 retail stock. GTA V5 seems to be one of the top purchases for any new PS4 and Xbox One owners who buy it with the console. Hardly surprising when there is soo much content in there.

I know its easy to get bored of GTA V5's success but its brilliant for the industry and I'm sure has driven many ps4 and xbox one console sales.
