Forums - Gaming - What games will MS market with XboneX now that Crackdown 3 is delayed?

well, they'll market it with multiplat superiority (which imo caried the early PS4 quite a bit) and automatic (+ some manual) enhancements of existing games

I wonder what the ratio for XxX will be compared to the S - I think 1:4 is the lower end of MS's expectation

Can someone remind me what the PS4 Pro used at launch to showcase its power?

Sony launches their key ips early in the year. People knew what they weee getting early on. Infamous, horizon, Spider-Man, god of war, last of us and more were promised in e3 video packages. Sony made promises that great games are coming and people believe them because they have the developer pedigree to make those games

A wonderful answer to the question in point, kudos.

OT: Superior multiplats pretty much every time should be a selling point for at least some people. Exclusives, well... it's not the MS method for the most part as of now.

Sony isnt the one in the tight spot, with nothing special to offer, with exclusives lacking in diversity, quantity and quality.

No need to thank me for this little reminder, you probably heard a dozen times before. You're welcome.

So your answer is they had nothing. Thanks.

Xbone will launch with the same thing Pro did: A bunch of superior multiplat titles. Oh, and Forza 7.

It's not that they had nothing. Sony launches everything strategically at different times of the year. sony doesn't put their key ips in harms way in November . Graphicswise crackdown cannot do for Xbox one x  what horizon does with the pro. The Xbox was marketed as a console that will make third party look better anyway so I don't think it mattered that they had nothing anyway. Really and truly it should t affect much. Those who want an x will get it.

They should have secured every third-party marketing deal possible even if it costed them a lot of money. Instead of giving everything in sony's hands. If they did that they would have been fine. Crackdown doesn't look like system seller anyway.

The best thing for MS right now is that Sony doesn't really have any big games this holiday season as well. On the other hand they've got all marketing deals.

Except GT Sport...
