You should know by now that Nintendo only releases new models when everyone already bought the old model. So the sooner you buy, the sooner we'll have a better console.

Yes, because VGC is biased against Nintendo.

How fast do you think a new model is coming? Not before next year, even only the announcement. So, I think you have to decide if what the Switch offers at the moment is enough for you to give in.

Next Switch model will arrive in 2019-2020. Maybe in 2018 we will see price drop, but I doubt it.
So there's no point for waiting. Go buy Switch and enjoy the game :)
I always ask myself this question:
Are there 5 games out on the system I am concidering buying that I want to play as soon as possible
Answer YES = Buy the system
Answer NO = Wait to buy the system ask again in a few months
I am personally waiting for more games

I used a Gorilla glass one on mine and it works out great.

For me it's not really abou the game anyway. It is more as I aid i the harware get supdated too soon.
Hell my back log over the lat 20 yeats is probably over 400 games easy. They just sit in the cupboard lol.
