Never was a huge fan of Sonic, but I loved the demo of the game I played back in February, so I decided to pick it up.

Still not 100% convinced on the series, but Mania as a standalone game is pretty swell.

Sonic Mania switch version has a 91 on meta critic! I know it's only like 6 reviews but that's a damn good score

Even if it's just 8 reviews, that's the highest rating for new Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast, 89 with 18 reviews to go off of.

Once you beat the game you can do a new game + mode. In this mode you can select whatever level you want to play. It makes getting all the Chaos Emeralds and Blue Sphere Challenges a lot more doable than past games.
